TALYN SCOTT - KNOCK KNOCK

Join the RMCAD community in welcoming the exhibition "Knock Knock" by Fine Arts student Talyn Jaymes Byam Scott! The exhibition will be on view from Friday, October 27th - Friday, December 8th in the Rude Gallery on campus. Talyn will be displaying paintings, printmaking, as well as sculpture works in a solo exhibition with his distinct style. Stop by the Rude Gallery on Friday, November 3rd from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. for a reception to celebrate the exhibition and learn more about the artist.

"The metaphysical, archetypal puzzle rearranged through an ever expanding, once collapsed space. A layered entry of juxtaposition narrows the focus in the often-misinterpreted wide range of socio-contemporary, anthropological, and culturally driven parallels. With the focus of line language and symbol shape relationship, the work organically combines portrait, landscape, and still-life into one cohesively structured environment. The process of working is in reflection to the inevitable characteristics of visual improbability."
